Hans and Frans, Steve's soft, cuddly, adorable rats have moved in with me! I have been entrusted with their love, kisses, and care during the year-long absence of Steve while he resides in a less friendly part of the world (ie Afghanistan).
*It sounds best to say "Hans and Frans", but in the photo it is actually Frans on the left and Hans on the right.
Has Steve already left for Afghanistan or just getting ready to? I thought he was going in November. I presume, since you live farther apart now, that you took them home with you while you were there, rather than having to go the distance again to pick them up later.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope those cute, furry, little critters don't bite, but I guess, since they've been in captivity their entire lives, they can't be rabid. A bite would only hurt, not be dangerous.
BTW, while I'm on, that was quite a head dress he is wearing. Love the feathers.

ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a tea box. I thought that Frans might enjoy chewing the box to pieces, but he took no interest in it.
